Clarence Bekker has the gift of touching the soul of who listens to him. Through his amazing voice and energized spirit, he captivates any audience from head to toe. No one can remain impassive to its magnetism. The strength of great masters of soul, funk and pop such as James Brown, Prince, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson or Tina Turner are concentrated in his figure.

His extensive career has led him to achieve numerous successes under the pseudonym CB Milton, in addition he has been the lead voice of internationally renowned groups such as Swinging Soul Machine, 08001, or Playing For Change. With this last project, he did seven world tours and they have videos on the internet exceeding the 200 million views.
 

In 2016, this flying Surinamese decided to create his own band together with some of the main musicians in Spain. Since then, the Clarence Bekker Band has done nothing but captivate all kinds of audiences at some of the main festivals and venues in Europe, Australia, Morocco and Brazil.

At the beginning of 2020 they released their first full length "Changes" with the label Jazz Activist, consolidating themselves as one of the most powerful projects in the black music scene.
